Does the Philips Lumea work?

Tonight I looked at my poor red skin on my chin, which I've been plucking and enough is enough.

The tash I can cope with as its easily waxable but my chin is awful.

So I've decided to splash out on a Philips Lumea but before I part with £400, I want to hear the positives and negatives.

I've got one and it has made a huge difference to my legs (bottom half). I used to have to shave them daily if I wanted to go bare legged and even waxing would last only a week but now they are good for a couple of weeks when I shave and Lumea them again. A vast improvement.

Underarms haven't been so successful but then I'm not great at sticking to their suggested schedule. But the growth is certainly slower and they feel better for being left alone a lot more!

Shop around if you do decide to get one. I got mine on amazon and it was much less than you are saying.

The only thing I would add is that you would need to shave your chin and not pluck as otherwise the Lumea won't work. As long as you are happy to do that...

I know. That's the bit I'm not sure about as I don't have lots of hair on my chin, just a few here and there.

I did read a few reviews where people hadn't bothered shaving their upper lip and chin and it still worked.

I'm just so fed up of plucking. My chin never looks clear because it's constantly red from constantly being touched and because I get ingrown hairs.
