A new me

I am 45, size 10/12 and under 5ft! I am also stuck in a rut. I've never been fashionable or had much clue about clothes although there was a short period in the 90s when fashion in the shops seemed to coincide with what I liked. But that was then.

I have just cottoned onto PinInterest and been putting up lots of images on there of styles, colours etc I like. But the main problem is that most of the stuff I like seems to be photographed on tall willowy women whereas I am short and stocky! I have no idea how to translate the ideas to suit my body type/size.

Anyway, over the next 6 months or so I will be buying pieces to help change my style so that I am at least a little bit stylish and feel confident. I have lost about 2 stones but still have about 9lbs to go. I am still flabby, however, and I carry most of my weight around the tummy and thigh. Money is super tight so I need to be absolutely sure that I like the clothes I buy and that it suits me and that it's versatile. (Not asking for much thenGrin.)

So, with this in mind I will be asking for opinions on purchases every so often and tonight, I thought I'd ask your opinions on this:

I really like it. What do you think? it show model with skinny jeans but I can't wear skinny jeans. What would you wear it with? And what would you accessorise with. All ideas welcome Smile

I like it, I wouldn't wear it myself because it would make look wider than I am but if I was able to wear it, I think I'd wear it with long dark bootcuts and a plain white tee or cami. It's quite a bold looking jacket so I personally wouldn't go for any stand out accessories but that's just me.
