I like these 'boring' threads, Miss. You don't have to open them, you know.

But I'm v boring as I'm just wearing pale wash skinnies and a long black jumper.

I am wearing:
Beige tea dress with small green leaf pattern, Topshop
Grey cardigan, Zara
Navy appliqué sleeve coat, Zara
Black opaques, Falke
Black shoe boots, Autograph at M and S
Big chunky knit grey scarf to hide my face a bit (am still full of cold)
Lipstick Queen lipstick in Rose Sinner (not clothing I know, but I really love this at the moment so had to mention it!)
I think I look really rough today, but a man just tried to chat me up in Selfridges, it never happens when I feel I look half decent!

Grin Sofacanary Grin

I am imagining I'm in Cornwall whilst enjoying this first properly spring-like day (rather than sitting in my garden miles from the coast).

Briefly considered a dress but decided I had more chance of enjoying the sunshine if well- wrapped Grin

If I'm included in the looking glam and/or flash then I'm surprised, I'm the least glam person I know Grin

I wore leopard print ballet flats when I went out (with black pop sock things) and my poor feet really missed their ankle boots and thick socks! It was warmer (ie biker jacket, not parka) but still quite chilly out of the sun.

sjupes · 06/04/2013 17:47

Black maternity leggings, a green multi coloured stripe dress that fits over my fat bump, white pumps and a short sleeved white cardigan.

I went to tesco and bought loads of summer toys for the kids at the sight of the sun Grin

ujjayi · 06/04/2013 18:37

Definitely chilly still today but how wonderful to have so much sunshine :)

Marsha - love the sound of your clothes today Also, how do you rate the I&I knitwear? Keep perusing it but not actually got around to ordering yet.

ImFlabulous your outfit sounds as "glam" as everyone else!

Remus - that's exactly why I didn't go for the dress option today! I knew I would be too tempted to do ballet flats when actually I am way too nesh for that kind of footwear below 15 degrees.

Novelsituation is your biker from this year? Looking for a spring/summer biker myself.

MarshaBrady · 06/04/2013 18:58

Thanks Ujjayi!

The I&I is fabulous, but I did get it in the outnet clearance sale which meant it was £20 rather than the full amount. I did buy one at full price previously and sent it back as just felt a bit high £. Must admit the discount has an effect on how much I love it, (bought three).

ujjayi the biker is new, currently sold out on the website (went really quickly). They were sold out of my size online, but the Glasgow branch phoned round and had one sent up from London - took two weeks to arrive. Picked it up yesterday, and love it. Very soft, flattering cut and minimal detailing.
Size eights were still in stock online until this morning. Definitely worth phoning customer services or getting your local branch to do a branch transfer if you are interested.
