Anything worth buying from Avon?

Catalogue just came through the door. Not looked at one in about 10 years.

After a quick look I'm considering getting some stuff but wondering on Avon quality?

Anyone get anything good lately?

Skin so soft body oil is great for keeping mossies at bay! Grin

If I'm lucky enough to get away somewhere with mossies I'll definitely get some of that then! They eat me alive!

I really like their pillow mist to help me sleep. Not a beauty product as such but definitely helps and lasts for ages!

I was looking at that actually Faith What does it smell like?

Like lavender mostly but gentler than some. I just squirt it round the room a couple of times before we settle down.

I love the mascara & nail polishes & lip glosses aren't too bad either.

I was tempted by a mascara but I do get fussy, what is a particularly good one onedev ?

The big bottles of bubble bath are lovely (and very cheap).

The nail varnishes are very good indeed.

The detangling spray has saved much yowling.

Good stuff! I think DS will like the strawberry bubble bath.

I'll give some nail varnish a try too.

derek is the magic primer any good for days when you don't want foundation? Thats what I mainly use primer for.

The mascaras are good, even the cheap ones. I like the mineral foundation too.
I dont agree with nail polishes, they chip away the next day!
When I wear iluminating face pearls I get compliments on how good my skin looks.
Most lipsticks are ok but some taste horrible.

DD adores the bubble bath. She has pretty sensitive skin and it is one of the few we can use. It smells gorgeous too.

I love the morocan argan oil stuff for hair too. My hair is lovely and swishy.

Oh and the hair dyes, if you colour your hair at home.

My avon lady loves me!!

The Speed Dry nail varnishes really do dry quickly, and I've never had a bottle (of any type) that chips quickly.

glen I think mine will become quite fond of me now that I have these recommendations!

Is the hair oil similar to moroccan oil brand?

Glimmersticks eyeliners are fab. Last all day and are twisty-uppy which for me is brilliant (no sharpening!)

Their super shock mascara saw me through horrendous hayfever and a nasty spilt with my husband without smudging or running once!

I really like the Pro+ Nail polish. It has gel in it and lasts very well.

Also good is the Magix face perfector. .

I also buy the linen sprays. Lovely to spray on your pillow.

It's the Supershock Max mascara I like. I haven't noticed the nail polish chipping Smile

The gel eyeliner pencils are fab. I like the glimmer stick ones too.
I always use the mineral foundation.
I like their sun creams too, just incase it ever stops snowing!

Thank you all so much!

Now I know what is decent I can stock up a bit.

Having a lean few months so happy to find avon is so reasonable with good reviews!

Not sure, just know the shampoo and conditioner leave my hair lovely and I use the mask once every 2 weeks and the oil when I blow dry and it leaves my masively over treated stupidly long hair lovely :)

Must say my mum has started doing Avon so have ordered some stuff and their make up has really surprised me! Their mascara has lasted all day even in this bitter cold when my eyes are streaming with tears by the time I get to work!

Have ordered kids bubble bath and shampoo and they both smell lovely :)

Really surprised and will be ordering more!

Glimmerstick eyeliner and Supershock mascara are both brilliant. Also like the tinted lip care.
I have loads of their nail varnish because I like the colours but do find it chips quickly despite the claims in the brochure about it lasting for 10 days
