Anti wrinkle pillows

Hi there, I've heard about anti wrinkle pillows, that they don't squash your skin when you sleep and product doesn't soak into them like it does on normal pillows but do they work?

Has anyone tried one and noticed a difference?

I'm just wondering as I always end up on my side or front when I sleep and was thinking that maybe my night cream is going to waste if I'm just creasing my face up in my pillow all night!

Ps. if anyone does rate them can you recommend one please?

I have heard people swear by them- they are made of silk.

The idea is that the stuff on yourface stays there and it's not absorbed by the cotton of usual pillowslips. I think there is some truth in it because my mum now 86 used to talk about sleeping on silk pillows to prevent ageing.

I bought silk ones. They don't make a blind bit of difference. The only thing that stops face wrinkles is sleeping on your back

I bought a silk pillow, with a silk pillow case. Waste of money - face is just as wrinkled in the morning.

I bought silk pillowcases, as I'd heard they also stop your hair from getting as mussed and frizzed.

They do help, but they aren't miracle workers and same goes for wrinkle prevention; slight improvement, but not really worth the extra cost.

Yes I'd heard they help with frazzled hair too. So general consensus seems to be that they may help but not worth the cost?

I'm not actually sure how much they are, I'm assuming if they're silk they must be quite expensive.

I really like mine, no more pillow creases in the morning.

I love mine too. I never get sleep lines now. I have a cheap eBay one and a dear one and they're both as good as each other.

I have a used a silk pilliow case for a few years and it does mean I don't have to wash my hair everyday to style it and I don't get temporary creases on my face in the mornings like I used to, but the crows feet and nose to mouth lines are getting a little worse as I age.

I use SilkFerfect pillow cases and they do amazing things for your hair (smooth as silk in the morning). Quite good for skin too but only if you wear a silk eye mask as well (& get baby botox).

You could save your money and just put your hair in a really tight pony tail in the morning? Hmm

saggy the good old Croydon facelift, it may yet come to that!

I have recently bought the 'save my face' pillow (www.savemyface.co.uk/), the small one that goes on top of your regular pillow, and I love it! Supports your head but has a hollowed out bit for your face so you don't get all squashed up and wrinkly. I've definitely noticed a positive difference in the mornings.

You are supposed to sleep on your back to avoid wrinkles, supposedly.

Time thanks for the link I've had a look, they look interesting! I may well be tempted.

I try to sleep on.my back lottie but I just can't stay on my back, I feel more comfortable stretched out on my side.

I got a crescent shaped pillow aptly named as the savemyface pillow from savemyface.co.uk. The shape is such that it prevents pillow face by elevating the face. I can say I'm pleased with the results..

As we age, the appearance of sleep wrinkles, those facial lines that develop from sleeping with your face on a pillow, becomes more outstanding.Silk pillow cases are supposed to also be really good for your hair!!! I had never heard of the save my face pillow... now I want one! Using a pillow ( not a special anti wrinkle pillow ) that minimizes facial wrinkling is another probability. Sleep on a big, soft, non-synthetic pillow that you are able to puff up and squash. Know more about anti-aging pillows to get detailed information which may help you!!!!

I have just bought the eBay one (fingers crossed for smooth skin and slightly less lionessesque hair in the morning)

I've used one for years and it has improved my nose to mouth lines..I switched to cotton for a while and they got worse
That said they won't decrease an already wrinkled face (imo)! I use it as a preventative more than anything and they're not that expensive
