Thanks Smile.

Had great lunch with a girlfriend in a seriously delicious resturant, L'Abri. And then ran over to Tara Jarmon on Champs-Elysées and ended up buying the jacket that matches yesterday's skirt, rather than the green one (which was a weird cut on me, and the colour wasn't great for me either - would be fab on an olive skinned brunette if there are any among you). And also a bright yellow skirt, the one called "Jupe Trapèze" on the site, with two patch pockets (but no yellow, just black, on the website).

I desperately need some more tops and cardigans!

Sigh... Order something from the states and get it more quickly and cheaply than if I ordered it from Matches >1 mile down the road!

Anyway loving the blogs hopefully and amber
Really looking fwd to my (childless ) trip to London next week. Am planning my (very) capsule wardrobe already!!!!am meeting an old school friend I haven't seen for 25 yrs .....( obviously last saw her when I was 5! Thanks liberty, I think I need something a little darker but i like the metal detail. The Floretes I have are the perfect colour. Just need to replicate in a flat.
Well done on the TK Maxx bargain, I think I'm jinxed when I go there.

Drywhite 27 is small! I am overjoyed at getting to 30 waist - I notice all those reduced jeans go in sizes 29 - 32 very, very fast so I'm not the only one. And despite my moans on here about my legs etc I am really not fat.

shopafrolic · 15/02/2013 21:53

Oh no! The 7FAM had all sizes when I posted the link!!

I go there several times a week and get lucky about about once every two to three weeks. I used to hate TKMaxx - couldn't bear the mess - now about a third of my wardrobe comes from there! I seem to have perfected the art of finding stuff there. If I haven't found something in 10/15 mins I leave.

Also saw Micheal Michael Kors safari style coated anoraks there today - sizes too big for me and wrong colour but v nice.

Well done Shop on the new thread. Life and technology has been getting in the way on my MN habit recently but I'm hoping to immerse myself again.

The only purchase to report back on is the Ganni dress. I need to think about it a bit more, the problem being that it doesn't look quite as gorgeous on me as it does on the 5'11 model. I fear that I need to lose a stone and grow half a foot before it hangs the way I'd like it to. But it's sold out so sending it back in two minds is a risky business. I would like it if I could be sure I didn't look sausage-y Confused...

I've decided to adopt Marsha's eyes-on-the-prize mentality; I'm shopping too indiscriminately at the moment. So my mission is to come up with a focussed SS13 shopping list - and yours, should you choose to accept it - is to keep me on message!

But I really like Libertychic's pointy ballet flats and I have an itchy ordering finger...

QueenBoo one of the things I have learned from these threads is if it's not perfect send it back. But I am sure you don't look like a sausage!

God, this is like a massive confessional. So dh and I went to Selfridges yesterday. I spotted a jacket I liked in Armani Collezioni. I haven't bought anything from there in years (getting excuses in early!). That began my downfall. £2,500 later Blush dh staggered out saying when I said don't go mad... Grin. Anyway can't find everything on line to link but here are a few things... this tweed jacket goes nicely with jeans and with shift dresses. silk camisole is absolutely beautiful. Bought it in white too. I have E cup norks and just don't suit thin strap camisoles. These just looked and felt amazing so gulped at price but had to have them. Then the one I really errmed about was this shrug. Its a bad picture because I wouldn't wear it closed up like that, more like an evening cardigan to go with dresses. (Those of you reading my posts would know I am obsessed with being cold!). I got a jacket and wide leg trousers will find those and link later! Also bought two Desigual tops. Will find the other later but this Desigual top is me trying to add a bit more colour to my weekend day time palette!

We took a break at one point and had drinks at the bar overlooking the Balenciaga concession. Marsha, the bag you like had just been put out on display and so many people were stroking it. Its a beautiful bag.

On this shopping extravanga, I wore hobbs jacket, gap skinnies and this lovely desigual top which I bought last week, with these RB chanelesque flats. I never normally feel chic in day time casuals as usually have toddler and pre-schooler in tow so made a nice change! Dh may not agree to a shopping trip for a while Grin

Bravo Novice! What a shopping expedition! Like climbing the Andes Grin.

Am also impressed at your dh and his staying power. And that he didn't make you go and help him choose some socks or something. Good work!

Not surprised you have a shopping hangover. It's all lovely, hope you got a taxi home laden with all those yellow bags. Grin

Liberty lovely cardigan and fab price.

Bonsoir lunch looks lovely.

We went somewhere lovely and I had cauliflower soup and duck confit. Two glasses of champagne which made me feel tipsy. So indulgent.

Good work Novice - my DH would have walked away after an hour!! So gold stars to him!
I also need a list for SS purchases QueenBoo - i keep planning an outfit in my head, buying one item and then planning the next before finishing the first one. Gaps I think are dark nude ballet flats, blue skinny mid rise jeans, I have indigo wash and plenty of colours, but i need some 'normal' ones! A blazer (undecided on colour), a honeycomb or mesh knit to throw over vests and skinnies (Amber I love the Rag & Bone one you pinned and have seen it in orange......) and a couple of daytime dresses but I have no idea about these and what might suit me as historically I have only ever worn very structured dresses for work. Planning still to be done before shopping i think!
My RL breton is in Milan! Taps fingers impatiently.......
Anni outfit sounds perfect for a trip to the Orange cavern! i'll be off there myself later - probably in my prune Bowies too!

I think I can firmly say I am on that bench with liberty now! (For any skimming my post and thinking I am a total fruit loop, I didn't buy all those things, just the ones from Armani and Desigual!!) Marsha same here, couple of glasses of champagne yesterday too!
