Falke wool tights- wonderful :)

In case anyone wants to know- they are wonderful.

I thought paying £29 for tights wass a bit mad but they are worth it. They are lovely and soft, have a proper gusset ( comfy), properly shaped toe and heel, and a wide waist band. They feel as warm as trousers and much warmer than cotton leggings.

They are much nicer than both Autograph and J Lewis equivalents which IMO are a bit skimpy in the sizing- I'm a 10.

Ah, Thats interesting! I was looking at the falke matt opaques and wondering if they were worth £25. Anyone tried these? Or the wolford ones?

I love tights like this (although I get Wolford).

So nice to wear. Love the wool ones and 30 denier for evening/party.

So many types to try would love to have more.

I have the Falke opaques. I bought a couple of pairs last year and based on that a couple more this year. They are fab. I wear them almost all the time. Wear well, wash well, not prone to holes and ladders. Very comfortable. Properly opaque as well.

They do seem unreasonably expensive compared to say M&S, but are so much better imo.

I managed to get some in a sale in Debenhams a few weeks ago for about £7, they are fabulous!
Have a look in TKMaxx, I've bought several pairs of Falke tights for a fiver or so in there. They do have some funny colours but if you search you can usually find a bargain

YES! Falke and Wolford are so good that it makes you wonder how they make them - special Legwear Leprechauns? Entirely different to other tights, in a good way.

I am horribly tight (see what I just did) but they are beyond worth it.

My Wolford Velvets (remember 1990?) lasted ten years, which for 19 quid worked out rather well. Falke bedsocks are beyond bliss.

No crotch trouble on Falke tights either, the bane of my winter life. Opaques are opaque and don't let leghair through even if as I do you channel Chewbacca from Oct onwards.

Good news: TK MAXX HAVE THEM IN AT THE MOMENT.

6 quid socks, 4 quid tights. Both brands, the usual TK motley of colours and sizes, but a lot of black and neutrals and decent sizes. Takes about 10 minutes to hunt, don't leave without 3 pairs.
