So, if you are large of foot, say 7 or above...Do you have large hands too?

Following on from the height / weight thread, and then the height / shoe size thread.

I have size 7 feet, and big hands.

It's something I'm quite conscious about, so never wear 3/4 length sleeves.

If you have man-hands, do you try to disguise them with chunky jewellery?

Do you wear nail varnish?

5'4, size 7 feet, quite big hands (broad, not long!) and don't wear rings other than wedding ring or nail varnish. However have nice string wrists and like bangles/ cuffs.

Yep - size 7 feet, and man hands here too. Can't get bangles over my fingers and have to buy mens gloves if i want leather. I also.have broad shoulders and rather large knees, so.think I.have a large skeleton, rather than just large hands and feet.

And I do wear nail.polish, but only on short.finger nails.

I have size 8 feet and I have really tiny hands. When I got my engagement ring replaced recently the jeweller wouldn't stop going on about how small my fingers are! Tiny wrists too.

Size 7 and average to small hands! Well at least one bit of me had to be Grin.

Have very slim fingers too. Again that doesn't reflect the rest of me!

Ok, so you draw attention to wrists, and therefore away from hands.

I sometimes feel I should be wearing Henry VIII style huge rings, but I guess that just draws the eye to fingers, rather than distracting.

I have size 7 feet and big hands. Never thought to try to disguise them though, they aren't man-hands, just my hands!

Don't think anyone else notices my hands actually. No one believes me until I put them up against their hands to compare. I have the same size as DP.

Rings from shops never fit me. All too small and stop at my knuckles.

I have size 7 feet...but rather small hands. So no.

Size 8 feet and although my hands are quite big they are in proportion (5'10"). They are longer and thinner than DH's who is same height.

I have fairly small (vs height/shoe size) with thin fingers and wrists, but they're probably a shade bigger than whatever is average. I can wear ladies gloves/jewellery and Im a size N in my wedding ring.

I think I'm surrounded by delicately boned people. Think Kylie hanging out with Miranda Blush

I wear bangles / bracelets, and dark nail polish on short nails. Lighter polish when they are longer.

I'm a 6.5-7 and have very long fingers so I'm usually a large in gloves. I have very long toes come to think of it... I reckon I'd be a size 4 if it wasn't for my big toe! Weirdly I also have a very small head. Hats are always too big. I'm making myself sound gorgeous aren't I Grin ?!

size 7 feet and biggish hands i suppose, I have never thought about it, so what if your hands are big - you really think people are staring at them thinking ''ooh hasn't she got big hands"? Honestly?

Yes. I have size 8/9 feet. (42, proper shops it's an 8, fashion shops a 9, still no idea why).

I also have big hands, and arms that are too long for most clothes.

However, I am in proportion, I am 5ft 10.

Not so much man hands but my fingers are ridiculously long! Friends used to say I could play the piano 2ft away. My feet are the same, size 7 long and skinny. I don't wear rings but if I were to, they would be chunky.

Size 8-9 feet.

MAssive hands dangling on the end of tiny wrists and short arms so they are shown off to maximum effect. At least my coat sleeves are too long and keep my hands warm!

Yes, I always have problems with coats!

I'm 5ft 9-10, size 8 feet and giant hands. I always think I look like an unconvincing transvestite and note all the 6ft 4 men with tiny girlfriends, finding this somewhat unfair. :)

Forgot to add that I don't have any concerns about people staring at my weird hand and feet combo as they are all dazzled by my supreme beauty - Sam Brick has nothing on me!

5' 7'', size 7 feet and yes, big hands. I'm not overly conscious of them as I think what they do is more important than how they look(I'm quite proud of my drawing/painting skills, for eg).

But I don't wear nail varnish, partly because I think that wil draw attention to them - and I can't get bangles over my knuckles so they're out.

For rings I just wear my wedding and eternity - but I keep meaning to add in a couple of extra pretty ones. Loose bracelets I like, and always go for fairly substantial but pretty rather than chunky as that suits me.

As I get older I'm more of a mind to think sod anyone else's opinion; I do sometimes notice other people's delicate wrists and hands and feel a Envy twinge, though.

Meant to say, in my mind they probably envy my lovely hourglass figure!

I'm only 5ft 4 but with size 8 feet and my hands are large but not really noticeably. I have broad shoulders and bigger wrists and ankles than most too. Just a really large build but somehow didn't make the height to go with it

Size 9 feet (Euro 43) and in gloves I need a size 8 or 8.5, which is super rare in ladies styles. I'm 5'9'' so not all that tall! My feet bother me more than my hands, as my fingers are long and slim, but my feet look like flippers if I wear tights or skinny jeans with flats. Finding shoes is a bugger.

As for jewellery and nail varnish, I wear both without thought. Also find that three quarter length sleeves make my hands look smaller than something that ends at the wrist - anything ending at the wrist makes your hands look huge as the wrist is so small in comparison.

Size 7 is average shoe size in UK.
