Love the retro cover. Love the discount offer. Love the room sets. But, although I do like many of clothes when I see them in the shop and have bought them, was a little horrified how frumpy all the models looked in them. I could imagine it being aimed at a much older lady than me. Or am I being mean? I still have a hankering over the odd tunic and jumper , but is that what I look like (no worse as im not a model I hear you say)!!

All the clothes are yuck- not seen anything I like at all. I am old. Very old. I would not wear any of them. They are droppy and woefully unflattering. And the brochure stinks - is it the dye or paper, or what?

Make that droopy.

Yes it does stink, have noticed that before with their books. Maybe they put something in the ink to make you go light-headed and order loads of stuff whilst out of it.

I don't think it makes you old at all! I'm 25 and get the odd bits from there- as with everything, it's how you wear it. Grin

I agree with OP. I got mine yesterday. First of all, that's a lot of paper, even though it'll probably be recycled, to "waste" on mail dropping. I browse for clothes by Internet/iPad.

I was amazed how those lovely young models could look so utterly drab and shapeless in the photos Confused but, even more so by the people arrangement in the photo shoot. The older chap with longer grey hair was the dad, with his two daughters and son from a previous ex-marriage? And the young woman (but only just older than his "kids") was the new wife/girlfriend?

No. This does nothing for me. NOT inspired to buy this shapeless t-shirt material clothing at over inflated prices.

White Stuff used to be better than this!

Yes, my copy stinks too!
I think it's like a lot of the high street. You have to pick through a lot of crap to find the good stuff.
Personally I like their scarves and I like the odd quirky print shirt. Their dresses and knitwear invariably drown me as I am small.

I liked a few bits in the brochure but not sure if they'll be as nice in real life. My main thought, though was 'bloody hell they must be doing well if they can afford to send out a brochure of like this to all their customers'. It's twice the size of the normal ones, printed on very decent paper and the design and photography inside have obviously had a lot of time spent on them.

I hate white stuff. It's the most full middle aged crap. And this time it shows. Dire adverts

It's a catalogue. Not a book. Why do people call them
Books?
