Amazing charity shop haul!!!!!

I had to SHOUT as can't contain how excited I am. Just got a Shirin Guild 100% cashmere cardigan for £15 and authentic Longchamp handbag for £1.99 in charity shop.

Thought they'd be fakes but aren't. Just put a bit more money in the charity box to show appreciation. I'm made up.

I am now going to stalk the shop when ever I can! Yippeeeeee!

Although I did recently buy a (genuine) small suede Tod's bag for a tenner on eBay. I don't like it so am planning to give it to DD when she's a bit older. At that price, it doesn't matter!

Yay another charity shop fan, I just love snooping in my local one, always come out with a bargain or 2, often clothes that have never been worn and have original tags still in!

Most of my clothes come from charity shops or ebay. I have had some amazing finds over the years. I always feel like it's a present from the world when I find something wonderful in a charity shop.

I went to luton once and bought a real chanel silk scarf £5.

I knew it was it because i asked my dad for my 18th a few months previous, i never got it though

I looked at it and held it for at least 5 mins before the lady asked if i was buying it!!!!

I am a charity shop addict too. You never know what you might find. I have saved a fortune on shoes recently - some never worn in my size sitting on the shelf waiting for me at £3.50 a pair!!

Also had a few tops for about £3 each.

You just need to search through the well worn and less than perfect items -which is part of the fun.

Found a Toast silk skirt for £4 once. It was really pretty but a size 14 so I only wore it once. Still remember the feeling of 'wow!' when I saw the label though :-)

Ours are all too savvy now about good items. Anything that is designer or a well known label is put in a special cabinet or rail and they want ££££ for them.

I did get a lovely m&co dress the other day for £4 though but that is rare-usually just stuff for the kids I find.

YY, our local charity shops have experts who come in and whisk all the good stuff away to be ebayed. Sue Ryder's now the only one that's even worth looking in - they've got some fabulous evening dresses there atm; shame I'm not going anywhere dress-up! We do have a frock exchange and a retro specialist, which are more expensive than charity shops but always good quality.

Nostalgic for my student days, when charity shops really were mines of vintage treasure.

I love a good charity bargain, well done Tweet2Tweet. There is such satisfaction and for me almost a child like wonder even at my great age for a hidden treasure. I scout around my shops in North Yorkshire, where's there's muck there's brass . I have got Prada suede loafers, new ones, for £8.00, they squeak a bit but I can live with that, a Chanel coat for a tenner, dozens of scarves, Pucci and Lanvin, cashmere sweaters, an L K Bennett wool dress, £5, and deepest joy a Mulberry handbag, old but so beautiful. Never ever will I shop full retail again except for undies and stockings. Far more fun, and it's all for a good cause, me and them

Wow everyone is doing really well- I just found out that quite a lot of the Charity shops are doing a Christmas bonanza towards the end of Nov. They have saved all the good stuff over the year and plan to sell it off. The ones I know are doing this are: Samaritans, Barnados and Marie Curie are having a special evening where they are selling evening wear that they have kept. Most of this is happening in the evening 5-7pm.
I am so excited, am taking the day off work (so desperate!!) However I want to bag a few bargains if possible.
