Down? Up? Pinned back off your face?

It's for a clerical job in a university?

however you feel comfortable.. nothing worse than feeling unlike yourself. I always wear my hhair down, so to put it up would be unnatural. good luck

I'll probably pin it back of my face then bohemimum, since I'm inclined to flick Grin

I'm also planning on a full suit... too much?

I used to have very long hair, all the way down my back (until I got annoyed with it catching on everything and had it cut to shoulder length a month ago). The university is a major employer here so I've interviewed there a few times, with my hair down and wearing a full suit. I got complimented on my professional appearance in the feedback so I think hair down and suit would be fine! Although yes, if you're fidgety or flicky probably best to pin it back. Good luck :)

Up. It's curly so it really goesn't go with a suit.

I have long hair and I always wear it down with the front side fringy part clipped back on one side with hair grips, so it's not in my face all day. Or in a ballerina bun if I'm having a particularly bad hair day. Grin

I have long hair and usually wear it in a low pony. But I saw this the other day and bookmarked it! Depends how 'fancy' you are with hair, but I think it's so cute! thebeautydepartment.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/TBDoldfashionedponytail1.jpg

Twisted up in a clip for a formal interview, loose for informal. Although that depends on the state of my fringe - short fringe = down at all times, shaggy dog length means the side wisps blend better into an up do.

I do part time youth work so some interviews are jeans+trainers (for the interviewer. I wouldn't!) and full formality is unnecessary :o

Go to your hairdresser for a blowdry. You'll look more polished.

Up, in a smartish bun (not a Miss Trunchbull scraped back bun, but not a messy top knot either). I feel more professional and worklike when my hair is up, because it's wavy and doesn't look smart loose. If it was neat and straight I'd be happy to wear it down though.

For me either down as usual or clipped up in a cheat's french twist secured with a butterfly clip type thing.

Cheats French twist, as above. My hair looks great for approximately 15 minutes after blow drying before it goes frizzy, if it's up, then I don't have to worry about it. Good luck!
