like the boden quality, but not the prices, and think have most of their decent stuff. the rest is just repeats of old stuff, iyswim. at ridiculous priices.
am tired of high street shops. love the m&s website, but really pee'd off with them at the moment.
help me with some retail therapy please. i need some pj's or nighties that are non sexy, but non granny and non nursing as well.

I treated myself to some gorgeous Elle Mcpherson jammies/lounge stuff. Not cheap, but lovely!

for nightwear have a look at hush
I think they're quite expensive but I see there's a sale on at the moment.
For clothes I always shop at Gap but am starting to go to Kew too.

have you looked at la redute? (sp?), their prices are cheaper than boden. lovely stuff in plumo but very expensive.

la redoute quality can be disappointing though.

I never realised how expensive Boden was until, for some reason, last week I received a catalogue through the post! The way you all go on about it (albeit facetiously and with ulterior meaning... )) I thought it was reasonably priced! I nearly had a coronary...! £68 for a basic, unremarkable skirt! Not in this life!!!

I like La Redoute... lots of choice and quality. .and somewhat more affordable prices

i like boden, but only ever buy in the sale. can't afford and also refuse to pay their full prices. i'm crap at laundry, but their stuff seems to withstand it!.

got la redoute's new catalogue the other week, there's some very racey underwear in it

thank you all, ill have a look at those websites.

ive ordered froom laredoubte before, and always been dissapointed by their quality.
boden is good in the sales jess, and otherwise some ofhte kids stuff is not bad. dd's winter coat was full price, but with the 10% of came to £30.60. which considering the quality, and that i will be able to use it next year as well, is fantastic.

someone on mn mentioned another mail order company the other day called 'wrap'. i'm not sure what they are like but have asked for a catalogue, its too much trauma trying to go shopping with 2 little ones so i do mine from the comfort of the sofa these days!.

Kew is a favourite of mine. It's along the same lines as Monsoon and Boden. Has a website too.
