Kids truly are charming!

MIL decided to take dsd to a music event. It's not our contact day and she promised without thinking how to get her there etc...

In the pouring rain we have driven an hour to Dsds mums bfs to collect her, given her depending money then done a 40 mile round trip to drop her off with MIL at the music event.

Dsd jumped from the car no bye &&@ and dad no see you later, thanks for the money no nothing!

MIL is annoyed because we are out tonight and so she has to take her home/ have her sleep over.. ITS NOT OUR DAY!

Pointless post but nice to feel appreciated!! Lol

Nope. It's the MIL who is being inconsiderate.

I hear you.
I have actually given up on the idea of the DSC saying thank you for things. :( I don't need them to feel grateful, but I would like them to appreciate things.

She handed over her school report and says I think u gave me £10 each last year on entering the car!!! MIL is the icing on the cake! On the plus side karma is a bitch the event they are at is outdoors and it's poured all day... Is it evil to have a little chuckle...!!
