We're looking for 10 MNers and their families' to attend an exclusive event promoting Uniqlo's new Kidswear range.

Here's what Uniqlo say about their new range: "This is the first time UNIQLO has introduced kids wear across the UK business, and sees the cult classics and innovative pieces within the adult collection re-designed (and re-sized) for new born to 12 year olds. This exciting collection will contain items from UNIQLO's key product categories that have been adjusted to fit a kid's lifestyle." The event will take place on Saturday 31st August in the Uniqlo store in Westfield White City (London). Mumsnetters will be treated to special VIP hour (9am - 10am) before the event is opened up to the rest of the public. The day will include:

  • A Mumsnetter exclusive interactive photo experience (9-10 a.m)
  • An opportunity to see and try on the new kidswear collection
  • Access to the store for the rest of the event
  • A free family photo print
  • A Uniqlo goody bag

Those of you selected will be required to come back to a thread on Mumsnet after your day to share your experiences of the day and thoughts on the new kidswear range.

We'd also love it if you could take a few photos of your day and upload them to the feedback thread. Please note Photos may be used by Uniqlo on Facebook, their website and possibly on other marketing material.

The event is open to all Mumsnetters with at least one child under 12. Unfortunately travel costs are not included, so please only sign up if you are happy to pay for your own travel. Please note that a maximum of 2 adults and 3 children per family can attend the day.

We'll be in touch with those selected on 13th August.

If you'd like to attend, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

Do you know if kidswear will be launched on their website too? Or soon at least?

Wrong end of the country for me, but I do hope they put the range online. The choice for boys is pitiful (and, at a tall 9, DS1 is already pushing into the largest sizes in some stores)

Hi I would love to apply for this but my 13 week old baby pushes us over the 3 children policy. Hmm How very inclusive of Uniqlo, not the best way to encourage people to buy a new brand Angry

Do you have to take your children with you? Can't think of anything worse than DD in a shopping centre running around like a loon.

Entered as well - can imagine uniqlo being perfect for my DD and expecting a DS soon, hope the selections good. DD is tiny for her age & think their things'll come in her kinda proportions!

Thanks to everyone who has applied so far. JaquelineHyde, you asked about additional babes in arms - I'm pleased to say Uniqlo said this would be fine and we have adjusted the form accordingly. Please do add your details if you're able to attend.

My 12 year old loves uniqlo clothes but is too small for the adult sizes.
Would be perfect for her but can't face a Saturday in Westfield!

LOVE Uniqlo - survey completed!

I love Uniqlo and would have loved to apply, but I too have four children and the youngest is 3, so not exactly a babe in arms! Shame, as with all four under 10, they'd probably have done quite well out of usHmm

What is in the goody bags?
Would it really be worth the value of the modelling fees uniqlo would have to pay 2 children as beautiful as mine to model for their publicity shots? Hmm

Wink

Have filled in survey.

Very exciting, as I like Uniqlo clothes, and will be having to buy DC new clothes for the Autumn.

DS2 loves clothes, so would be in heaven.

Form filled in! I LOVE Uniqlo, always get my jeans there and they do free alterations (I'm 5' 2" so this is v helpful!). Their basics are great also.
