Own your home? London based MNers needed for new Barclays video – £150 John Lewis voucher to be had

We've been asked by the team at Barclays to find MNers who are willing to help out with a new video project.

They are looking for 3-4 MNers who meet the following requirements (which are pretty specific) so please read on and see if you are who they are looking for.

There will be a shortlisting procedure by Barclays - those who go onto make the films will receive a £150 John Lewis voucher as a thank you for their time.

So they are looking for mums who are..

~ Home owners (bought with borrowing ideally eg mortgage)
~ Happy to be filmed for a video in a London studio - this video will be shown on the Barclays website, as well as on YouTube and possibly on Mumsnet. On the video you will be identified as - for example - "Sarah from London"
~ Able and willing to discuss the processes of buying a home and the complexities of what it involves
~ Willing to talk confidentially on camera about their own personal experiences of home buying
~ Have at least "one thing they wish they'd known" whilst buying their home
~ Based in London area and able to travel to a studio in London for filming on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th or Wednesday 28th November - final date to be confirmed. Filming will last 2-3 hours.
~ The time is also to be confirmed - but please assume it's daytime.

With regret no children due to insurance at the studio.
Reasonable travel costs will be paid.

As stated there is a short listing procedure. All details (excl MN name) of those who apply will be passed onto the team at Barclays who will handle all recruitment after this. If you are short listed you will be contacted either today or Tuesday next week and asked to supply (by email) a recent photo of yourself (it's not a beauty parade but they want to ensure they get a good mix of folks on film) - then you'll have a telephone conversation with the people making the film - which again is to ensure they get the right mix of folks in the final film.

Those selected will then be informed by Barclays of the final instructions and will each get a £150 John Lewis voucher as a token of thanks.
