I am netflix naive but it does sound fabulous. My time is very tight just now but the thought of being able to pick what and when would be a real bonus. I'd probably not benefit from paying a monthly fee as i would get to use it so infrequently but when my time is less limited I will definitely have a look into it.

Movie night in our house is on the sofa with a big blanket around us all cosy up.

Airing Breaking Bad one day after it aired in the US has been Netflix's finest hour thus far.

It is the only TV show that my teenage son and I have ever enjoyed together. Both rushing home from work/school on Mondays to catch up was really fun. As well as sharing theories and predictions!

Oh, and speaking for myself - Orange Is The New Black was a revelation. Binged in one glorious weekend.

Love Netflix.

Love Netflix. Breaking bad and orange is the new black are just simply amazing.

I love to steal a sneaky half an hour watching Netflix on my smartphone while toddler ds has his daily nap.... long may it continue! I hope....!

My impressions of Netflix, based on the video, are a bit mixed, actually. I absolutely relate to having a baby on my chest, not wanting to move in case the baby wakes but wanting to be entertained but the last shot of the two boys is a bit Hmm, they almost look a bit slack jawed being so enthralled with watching TV, the term TV moron came to mind in that last frame. That's probably not the impression they wanted to leave.

We cancelled our Sky Movies subscription and got Netflix instead. We can watch via our PS4 so its really easy to just sit down and watch a film on the TV rather than having to watch via a laptop!

We just finished watching the entire Breaking Bad series on Netflix so have now moved onto the movies. We tend to watch 3-4 movies a week so its good value for money for us.

I've had a free Netflix trial, and was surprised by the lack of recent films on it. Maybe it's best for the US TV shows, which I'm not really bothered about. Also had some very explicit films, and unless there was some way of password protecting it I wouldn't want to risk DD being able to access them.

My husband introduced me to Netflix - find the choice great & great to wind down watching something after a long day at work. Favourite show so far is Orange is the new black, brilliant show!

My impression based on the films I watched was fairly positive.
I liked that you can watch it on various devices. I also liked that there were tv series on there that I had heard of but had missed the first few of so I never ended up watching. I'd watch them if I had Netflix.
I also liked that there were disney films on there.
Some program's like Thomas the tank are recorded on my youview box so I wouldn't need it for that.
If I watched more tv I would certainly consider getting Netflix.

We like to get snacks and drinks ready. Then we all snuggle up on the sofa. I'll make popcorn.
Like to get a nice big bag of crisps too.

If it's just me I like hot chocolate and chocolate. Only in the evening though.

My impression of Netflix is that I'm better off staying with Lovefilm as I like foreign films. I understand from reading on MN and friends that it is great for box sets but not so much on film selection.

Love Netflix, working our way through The Bridge just now. We liked to watch box set tv series previously so it is great to pay fixed monthly amount and choose whatever series to watch without having to buy the DVDs. We all have our own account and all have different preferences, from modern family to justified and comedy or action movies, really something for everyone.

Oh also meant to say, we use via the wii, ps3, iPad and laptop in different rooms so it is really versatile.

Like others I subscribed to watch breaking bad and this coincided with having an operation so I watched the entire series in about 3 weeks Grin

Free trial ended bit I carried it on.

My favourite moment is in bed with my husband or my daughters watching a movie.

I also put a movie on sometimes while I'm cooking or doing a particularly nasty job like cleaning the oven, I find it a good distraction.

I have recently had some good impressions of netflix. I have seen a lot of publicity about House of Cards, and it sounds exactly like the sort of programme I would enjoy watching. I like the idea that netflix is a creative channel, rather than simply a vehicle for watching films (not something I am keen on).

Netflix = House of Cards and a bottle of Malbec in front of a log fire.
Roll on 14/2 for the return of Underwood as Veep. Huzzah !

Netflix - Breaking Bad marathon or a 'no brainer' action movie
Hotel Chocolat boozy taster collection
A bottle (or two) of good red wine

All in bed.

I'm currently binging on Breaking Bad, but what I really love is being able to sit down when the kids are in bed, (allegedly at 9, but usually just after anything good has already started on tv) and watch something good, with no adverts and the ability to just pick up where I left it. It's what tv should be.

We are fairly new to Netflix but I managed to persuade DP after reading some of the reviews & advice on here. I am currently re-watching my way through Buffy - I loved that show but couldn't afford the box sets. It is a great way to spend my commute!

The dc's love having their own icons & can watch via iPad, wii, laptop & mummy's phone whilst we are out!

We do watch a kids movie together sprawled on the sofa with the duvet or blanket over us as a lazy Sunday afternoon treat

I'm loving netflix just now. I took out a free trial when it first came out and wasn't that impressed, but returned to it recently to watch house of cards and breaking bad. DS has his own icon and loves watching cartoons on the iPad (and I like that he's not bombarded with adverts).

It'd be good if you could download stuff to watch when you're offline and there was a better choice of recent movies. I think I'm going to cancel my love film subscription and stick with netflix though.

My Netflix time starts at 9pm.
I am currently just starting series 5 of Breaking Bad.
It's just full of great stuff. Cannot remember the last time I watched "TV". I don't have time.....too busy working through my List on Netflix.
Great programmes and great value.

I tried netflix in the hope that I could cancel my sky subscription, however, it didn't stream well for us, it would freeze or just not be able to play the movie at all. I have high speed fibre optic broadband , but we are quite a bit away from the exchange and I think this may have been a factor in netflix not working for us. So, sadly I had to stick with our overpriced sky package.
The choices on Netflix were great though and very often had a better selection than sky in my opinion.

Love Netflix, DD loves to watch her American tween shows snuggled up with iPad and headphones, DS loves watching Charlie and Lola straight through the smart tv and DH and I will watch whatever catches our eye in bed before we go to sleep.
