I think cocktails are in order.

I shall create, shall we go Bloody Mary or daiquiri?

I've never been to a hen night blush

A virtual one where I don't have to do real life social stuff sounds ideal grin

I shall make bunting

The last hen night I went to was in the middle of an IVF cycle. I had to inject in my car and got caught by a policeman. blush

My ovary drugging days are over, so at least that's one thing that will never happen again! grin. He practically bobbed down saying "what's going on here then". grin sometimes my life is a little surreal.

What time and when? Has someone told the hen?

MariaNoMoreLurking Wed 23-Oct-13 22:57:03

zzzz, what did you tell him?

The hen said Friday night, I think goose & carrot venue is obvious wink

zzzzz Wed 23-Oct-13 23:18:07

I told him I was doing IVF, showed him my kit (ie needles drugs etc!!!), and apologised for baring what I thought was a revolting stomach

<laughs bitterly at the thought of her lost midriff>

To be honest I only have to open my mouth for people to clock how very un-sex-drugs-and-rock-n-roll I am. blush

He looked frankly slightly shocked, in an "IVF how disgusting" way. confused

EllenJaneFucker Wed 23-Oct-13 23:51:41

Ooh, I love a hen night! Shall I bring a vibrator? They're great for stirring the drinks. grin

zzzzz Wed 23-Oct-13 23:57:57

Ellen. shock

Strongecoffeeismydrug Thu 24-Oct-13 00:01:28

I will bring the willy straws to sip the delicious cocktails grin.

EllenJaneFucker Thu 24-Oct-13 00:03:44

Oops, sorry, I see the thread had moved on! My only interaction with a policeman was when one returned my lost handbag containing magic mushrooms! blush Oh, for a lost, misspent youth...

SallyBear Thu 24-Oct-13 08:09:09

My hen night was spent keeping an eye on my very pissed former SIL. I think that her behaviour that night was a massive red flag of things to come where my poor BIL was concerned!!

hazeyjane Thu 24-Oct-13 10:22:27

Oooh this could be my one and only hen night!

I have never been to one, my best friend had a hen lunch, it was very civilised.

I did have to serve pizza at a very raucous hen night once, trying to work out who has ordered the pepperoni, whilst an oily man gyrates in a thong on a table, is quite distracting.

Ellen I too have had a magic mushroom/policeman incident, which must have happened about 100 years ago!

claw2 Thu 24-Oct-13 10:27:14

Blimey you guys have started early on the cocktails!

This will be the best hen night ever, if not the strangest, I will be at a virtual hen night and be sat here in pj's and slippers, sipping hot chocolate. Im so rebel grin

Hooray!!!

claw2 Thu 24-Oct-13 11:07:19

passes Star a sex on the beach

I had a hen lunch with my mum and sister, last week. In Harrods, afternoon tea, all very civilised, finger cucumber sandwiches and different teas.

Dp went out with his brothers, to a London nightclub envy

Bluebirdonmyshoulder Thu 24-Oct-13 11:57:36

I've obviously missed something, congratulations claw!

Looking forward to it!

I expect you to post how many steps down the aisle you have gone at periodic moments you know!

And also post some advice too.........

claw2 Thu 24-Oct-13 15:40:26

Thanks Blue

Lol@Star that sounds very familiar!

TOWIELA Thu 24-Oct-13 18:35:54

Dear Mumsnet, am I being unreasonable to demand that our dear friend claw2 reveals who she is in RL?

We are only demanding this because we only have her best interests at heart.

We absolutely will not all turn up cheering her on as she walks down the aisle. And we absolutely will not form a wedding guard of caring carrot batons for her and her new DH.

Am I being unreasonable?

claw2 Thu 24-Oct-13 18:57:26

Oh claw - simply beautiful - all of it! I'm getting all teary eyed!

zzzzz Thu 24-Oct-13 19:14:01
