Brain Scan tomorrow

My ds is going to have his MRI scan done tomorrow at Ipswich, hes been on a ward visit and seen pictures and even been allowed to watch someone else having an MRI done, the only thing worrying me is he cant eat after 8am tomorrow. Im hoping he understands, he's deaf so its a little harder to explain. The deaf team at SS have come up trumps and provided an enterpreter for him!

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow night!

Good luck with the fasting. I've got to go to Ipswich tomorrow to pick up ds2's splints (again) from Orthotics.
Hope all goes well.

Hi! We got home at just before 8.45. We went in at 12 noon, we had a few problems getting the sedative to work, but when he did go off he was asleep for 3 hours! No probs with wanting food or drink though thank goodness, he was ravenous when he woke up and ate mini cheddars, choc biscuits and toast whilst in bed!

Glad it all went well. How long do you have to wait for the results

They will let me know, i know hes feeling ok though, when i went out to the tumble drier which is in the garage he locked the garden door and i was stuck in the courtyard, luckily he was on the computer and had his hearing aids in and heard me thumping on the patio doors! If i didnt laugh tonight i'd cry. the staff on Boxford ward were brilliant by the way!!
