Fantastic open evening

DS2 has just started at ms primary in reception.
Anyway we have been to his open evening & his teacher described him as a "Beautiful little boy & a joy to have in the class"
He has coped with the transition so much better than any of us dared hope for, he's tolerating & even trying to play with the other children (although he can't recognise any of them or name them, even those he was at pre school with).
Apparently his concentration & attention is brilliant & he's coping physically but she wants to pick the OT's brain for help with his fine motor stuff.
So I can't stop grinning & i'm going to open a bottle of wine.
Hope you don't mind me bragging just wanted to share it with people that would understand.

don't 'know' you or DS, but so pleased to read of your delight at his achievements. Enjoy the wine!

Thanks all,
his teacher is lovely & she seemed genuinely so pleased that he has taken to her.
She said it has helped all the children because they try to keep the volume inside the classroom to a minimum & have all been practicing whispering as DS2 is upset by noise.

Thanks Lottie, I'm glad your ward visit went well, they are lovely. I hope all goes well for Monday, let me know how you get on, is your ds worried about it at all? Other than the lack of food that is!
An MRI has been suggested for ds2 but i've always been reluctant.
