Autism 2007 Conference

i attended the above conference by manchester university today.
it was great.

the speakers were:

Olga bogdanovish (sp?)
Professor Christopher Gillberg
Dr Catherine Alldred
Dr Robinah Shah
Charlotte Moore

Chris Gillberg,s presentation was brilliant and charlotte moore gave a talk on george and sam how they are doing now.

george is 17 and at college, he is doing well, charlotte can now take him to restaurants and they are writing a review for the guardian on a restaurant together soon.

sam is still liking his noddy videos and doesnt talk much but is very happy at home.

Oh I like Olga Bogdashina as well. What did she talk about?

she spoke about diagnosing ASD.
it was brand new stuff cos now she said they are including in the triad of impairments sensory difficulties as well.

oooh good. I was banging on about sensory stuff yesterday. It is finally making the academic literature.
