I did. Ds is still off. He has an inset day.

He came to dd's ballet today. It was so sweet. She always asks if he can come and he's normally at school.

We were very busy as usual. Lots to do and loads of kids in house.
Trips to farm, shopping, swimming and friends over. Plus a wedding and party at the weekend.

I love the holidays.

Would it be cheating if I said both?

Ds also enjoying occasional day but role on tommorrow! The house needs a break from Ds!Yes I think I'll cheat and say both!! This is his first holiday since starting at special school - so no formal homework to struggle with and school itself is much less stressful, so Ds is calmer generally. Haven't reset his body clock very well this clock change, so should be ready bright and very early tommorrow! How about you 2shoes?

a whole week of not getting up at 6.10. mess and toys all over the lounge. I fed the doll so many times she should be an elephant.

Makes no difference as DS is currently at private nursery (likely to change after Xmas as we are moving!)>

Some bits were okay but generally I'm glad it's over. I think we all breathed a huge sigh of relief this morning when it was time to go back to school. Ds1 & ds2 were thrilled to get there usual routine back again. Dd's going through a jealous phase and was happy to be getting me all to herself again. I was just glad to have time off from all the screaming, screeching and tears.

I had a brilliant half-term at work. On Monday we took 3 kids bowling, Tuesday I took 2 to the train station with a picnic to do some train-spotting, then onto a park to play football, on Wednesday I took one of my agency kids to Chessington's, on Thursday went to a halloween evening with another of my agency kids and fairly chilled out on Friday watching cartoons and the like.
