just heard from cdc they are reviewing dd.s asessment on 20th june and i have been told we should get a dx for her then.
thats the same day as ds,s tribunal and cdc wont change it, well they will but it will be in december

its like a form of torture, it just goes on and on.
ipsea have told me i can postpone it anyway cos we dont have enough time to asess M for the independent schools but that means we wont get
a tribunal date unti sep/oct.
and i need r,s dx cos we are putting in a request for an asessment in september so that it should hopefully be in place for reception the next year.
oh what to do?

n im not postponing tribunal especially now cos about half an hour ago the headteacher of the independent school phoned and said he wants to come to our house and asess DS for aplace in his school
if he accepts him that thats a big plus for us especially as the LEA have maintained all along that DS doesnt fit the admission criteria for the independent school.
he is coming next week to asess DS.
what i really need is for the LEA to cave in like they did last september 2 days before the tribunal to actually get him asessed and we can make both appointments.

i hope they do cave. i think your plan to irritate them into chainging the date is a good one.
If not could you go to one and your Dh go to the other?

have written to the developmental paediatrican telling her that it is unacceptable for us as dd,s parents to not be present at a review of her special needs.
i pointed out that every other professional has had their invitation except us and that we query why this is the case, i also told her that the ed psych who has seen dd is involved in ds,s tribunal that day so she more than likely cannot make it either.
if they wont change the date dh will go with me to tribunal in the morning and then go to cdc in the afternoon, only thing is our independent psych is needed at tribunal and he also sees dd so we wanted him to be at the cdc review as well.

more good news though, the 2nd school headteacher phoned and said he,s willing to write to sendist and tell them there is a place for ds starting in september.

YOOOO WHOOOOOOOOOOO.
i thought we were going to have to postpone the tribunal cos we didnt have a place for ds, now we have the choice of 2!!!!
If we win that is.
