It might depend on who is supplying them to you but before ds was trained (4 1/2) we got Pampers pull ups for him.

I mean the brand we were given was Pampers.

I think it all depends on the area where you live, some districts don't do free nappies at all. We had a foreign brand but tbh they were just as good as pampers, but if the brand they give you leak, then I'm sure they will change the brand, our suppliers were very helpful. Good luck!

we had trouble as the pull ups they supplied were rubbish. so I INSISTED thant she had dry nights, the nappies are fine though.(and she is sooooooo nearly dry )

Hi. We get free pampers every 12 weeks for our ds1 (5). We are in Shropshire. They used to be Bambino which were absolutely rubbish!! but they recently changed their contract to Pampers thank god.

Ooh you get Tena now Fio? We still have Leaning Towers of Libero in the bedroom.. (but, our new house will have built in storage space for nappies.. aargh.. can't think about it.. they've not even started the fecking thing yet...)

Did DD grow out of Libero then? I think DS is in the biggest size..

And did you know we're "supposed" to call them "pads" when they get to a "certain age" (uncertain what the "certain age" is though.. as was, it seemed, the social worker who shared the ridiculous anecdote with me.. )

I told her I'd inform DS that he is using the "wrong word"...

I wonder if we'll get anyone coming on to complain about our free nappies.. lol

Are free nappies only for day and night time use? Could I get some for Ds 7 who shows no sign of night time control yet, (and not 100% reliable by day)? Sorry to hijack thread!

We had a foreign brand for ages but they were pretty good. We have Huggies pull-ups now. We've got them all stuffed into the garden shed. I usually realise there are none in the house when it's pouring with rain and I have to dash to the bottom of the garden in the dark .

We get 3 a day, which the school tend to use, so we always have to 'top up'.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands i managed to really confuse the delivery man as he was calling the nappies- pads and the pull ups -nappies

Shiny, not exactly he is treated for ADHD, he is on or below 1st centile for almost everything (except size!)which i think is MLD and paed says he has 'ASD traits' but no official diagnosis yet- we muddle by! Costs mount up!

Indeed Magso. Is he under a community paediatrician? The nappies are sorted via the school nurse and I think you need refering via the paediatrician

Hi, i also get Libero for my son. Only problem i have is they tell me a date for delivery and it never arrives on this date. So i end up sitting in waiting and have to arrange another date for delivery and the same happens again, its very annoying. Libero are good nappies though.
