Has anyone had any experience of Blossom House school in Wimbledon ? I am thinking of trying to get my son in there as he has SLI but not ASD? Is the school very autistic and is the SALT good ? I have heard mixed reviews and worried it does not stretch children academically . DS is high functioning but struggles at mainstream school as the language is to complex for him to follow . Any comments would be appreciated.Smile

I have visited few times and DS paperwork was submitted there by LEA.

  1. Yes it doesnt strech them academically and the focus is more on speech and language, social and life skills
  2. Not veru autistic, they do have some children with autism but very able and no major beh problems. School cant manage beh issues
  3. Have heard SALT is good
