I've got no one in RL to share this with who will have any idea how big it is. He is nearly 15 and it's the first time ever that he had shown any emotion beyond laughter, anger or disinterest in anything that isn't RL!

It was Forrest Gump. He loved the film, got really excited at the story (which isn't so unusual) but then he was quietly wiping away a few tears when Jenny dies at the end.

It's such a huge step. My boy can still surprise me and can still make developmental progress even at his age. I shed a few tears myself, but not at the film! Grin Grin

Thank you. I knew you lot would get it. Smile I'm not quite so emotional this morning.

zzzzz, that is interesting. I'd kind of given up on DS2 continuing to develop in this way as he hadn't seemed to have changed in the last 4 or 5 years, except for calming down somewhat from his 'hyperactivity.' Not that he has ADHD, just very active. He's also beginning to put on a bit of weight! No more Complan before bedtime.

Hurrah for weepies!
Have you assembled a pile of films guaranteed to bring a tear to the eye Grin
