You just knew that this would be one of my threads didnt you?

Just had the manager of the SEN from my LEA on phone hello mrs xx, is DS looking forward to going to his new school next week?

"Erm, i thought he would be seeing his tutor for a couple of weeks first isnt that what we agreed?"

"oh oh right then yes and then he will be going back into school wont he"

"well i cant say, its going to be a long slow progress"
"Well yes but we have to look at this positively"
"yes we do dont we?"
"how many times has the psych been coming to see him over the school holidays"?
"quite a few"

"and is DS ok is he feeling alright"?
"well i think so but who am i to say, im not a medical person"

"And when DS is back in school full time then we can start to look at getting and educational psychologist in to assess him"

"i dont want to get into discussing that as we are at tribunal next month and that will take care of that"

"You mean you still want to go ahead with the tribunal?"

"yes definately"

"Ok bye then"

Nice try but i think not.

Do they think im stupid?
