I was getting out of the lift at JL in MK today with dd when a boy jumped into the lift, pushed me out of the way slightly, at which I bristled until I saw that he had a t shirt on saying 'please be patient, I'm autistic.' I told his mother to come to mumsnet.com because there was a great special needs board. Anyway, if it was you, welcome. Hope you found us here ok. I said www.mumsnet.com as the lift door was closing!

You were lucky. Ds1 would have checked to see if you were wearing a belly button ring

I hope she found it too.....

I'm wise to it now so I would have shrieked "uh huh NO belly button ring" before he got there. he checked the double glazing salesman on Saturday (bloke in late 50s with moustache).

LOl at the belly buttons!

Sam is currently a t-rex (or when crawling a lion- remembering back that's been an irregular thng since he was three). Ooh the looks we got in Asda! But I got that miffed, especially at the comments on teletext mail (like the daily mail but with more right wingers ), asking fro people to use the trolley chains to chain up naughty kids..... well today the front letter on the page (in the news section under letters) is from moi,a sking for apatience. hee hee hee.

DS1 has that t-shirt, he always behaves when ewaring it and I feel like a fraud

And if you did come, dear newbie, welcome

i consider getting tyhat t-shirt, although we are still waiting for dx. dd2 was in a dalmation suit again yesterday, and soent the time round tesco growling and yelping. she does it without the puppy suit, but she doesnt get as many 'looks' if she is dressed as a puppy and yelping, thanif she is in normal clothes and yelping.
