This is for a statemented child. We are appealing the statement
- the early years' setting invoices the LEA £12.49/hr but pay the tutor £8.49/hr. keeping the rest as admin cost. The statement doesn't say anything about tutor rates. I know statements aren't about ££. But, to me, they are simply a tool to part-fund her ABA program. Does anyone have a statement which states in black an white that the tutor will be paid 'mid-level lsa london rate' / '£x/hr' etc? If not, we will end up having the school deduct a hefty admin fee.
- does your statement clearly state who will invoice the lea for the home program?
- does your statement clearly state at what frequency the invoices will be paid?
- does your statement clearly state the name of your ABA provider/ independent supervisor and consultant? And who will they invoice and at what rate?
My questions my sound greedy, however, I am just trying to understand how to ensure that all the money we are pouring into the tribunal process will be well worth it. There is no point in having ABA on the statement and then rubbish ABA being delivered. Because I feel if it's not in the statement the lea will simply say we cannot help it. We are paying the invoices to the school. And we can't argue admin costs with the school.
