I want to start a Social Thinking programme with my 3 year old (4 in April). It is an American program so there are only a few practitioners here and all are booked up into next year already.
I have the books, they arrived yesterday and I hope to start with my son one-to-one in the coming weeks. However I think it would be wonderful to share the experience with another child and parent. When I talked to Skybound Therapies they said they have lots of queries about it from London so hopefully there is someone out there who would like to do the same.
For those who are not familiar with Social Thinking, it is aimed at those autistic children who have average or above average intelligence and so can think about thinking. It is a cognitive therapy.
I gues it depends on a lot of things but it would be great to meet several times a week. My son is in nursery in the morning so afternoons would be good.

I'm not in London, but this is something I would definitely be interested in doing if I was.
Bumping this up for you in case someone sees it :)

Have you tried posting on EalingHELP? It's the only local forum I know of for parents of kids with SN. Linky here ealinghelp.org.uk/

Sorry for not posting ... Time just goes. Yes this is the Michelle Garcia Winner programming. I've been trying to see if my son's nursery would be willing but unfortunately not.
