Sorry jimjams - have been searching archives but can't find the thread in which you posted about your ds1's nutritionist. Can you tell me his name again and the group he works for?

Reason I ask is that I went to see a nutritionist myself today and ended up talking about DS2. She had lots of ideas but I'd like to check her out before I take him to see her. Thought it would be good if she was part of the same group as your chap - probably shot in dark though

Don't worry - have just found it - Nutrilink! My woman's not one of their practitioners though.

Have you heard anything back from 'Growing Minds'? They acknowledged my deposit but I haven't had any details yet. Think I will have to stay with my brother - scary lack of money atm! It's only a mile away from the conference centre though, so perhaps I might be able to spend some time propping up hotel bar with you

The nutritionist I saw was called Maria Griffiths - I've googled her but can't find any specific links to autism. Think I will probably go with Nutrilink - there's a practitioner in Rottingdean, which is only a short distance away.

By the way, we will be in Somerset for two weeks from 30th July at my parents' house near Taunton. Would be great to meet up if you'd like to?

The woman rang me a while ago, but I haven't had anything in the post. The TRUE website is up and running now though you can link from the GM website. The hotel has cost a fortune!!! I almost stayed with my friend, but she's a bit further away and I thought I'd have some childfree time.

Yes would be lovely to meet up if we could, where would you want to meet? You'd be welcome to come here, although it might be a bit far for you from Taunton.

Should have said, wise to stick to an autism specialist if you can find one, as it is a bit different- and usually rthey will test so you get your own personalised supplements etc. Nutrilink are good at taking a very gentle/structured approach ime.

That would be lovely - where do you live? Alternatively we could meet at my parents' house in Curry Mallet - they have a v big garden where kids could run about! Also very very laid back (my parents I mean...)
