As recommended by the teacher at the centre where DS was Dx and goes for play therapy.

Just thought I would pass it on. DS was riveted and didn't fuss nice whilst waiting to see the doctor, an activity he normally hates.

PS. The music drives me nuts though.

Teacher remarked that if autism test results are taking ages to come back, a quick trial of child vs blue ball gif is a fairly reliable indicator.

She also suggested showing it to husbands and any other family members suspected of being on spectrum

She is very wily Grin

Trucks does it indicate that if you like watching it then chances are your ASD and if you don't like it thn your not?

That was what she said - albeit in a joking way.

I just remembered this. Needed to distract DS2 before war broke out over DS1's lego. Ended up with DS1 transfixed by it!

Thanks for this. DD transfixed by it and had to be dragged off to bed. Wanted to watch it to the end Grin.

Both DSs have just spent 20 minutes riveted...until Ds2 accidentally shut it. WW3 ensued :(

DH reckons it's not an aspie test, but one to pick out scientists. He reckons we are all scientists in our house :D.......Hmm

I was riveted by it too! (but then I also like watching the washing machine go round). I am not ASD in any other way as far as I can tell! I am however a scientist.
