Felling nervous and excited at the same time. I have butterflies. I thinks I am ready but worried I will forget something. While I know I could lose I am comforted by the fact that the LA's actions have shown they are worried they will lose.

Thanks for they advice you all have given.

The process is too long. Ours started in may. One problem i found is that the reports completed in sa are our of date.

rosielou678 Wed 08-May-13 17:26:57

Yes we are July. First requested SA in January 2012. The whole system is a joke!

KeepOnKeepingOn1 Wed 08-May-13 17:05:35

Cheese - hang on in there - the reliving is normal. I kept thinking 'I should have said..' and then remembered it didn't matter. Nothing that you did or did not say will have made the difference. You have done your best and no-one can do more. smile

Rosie - are you July?

CheeseToasty Wed 08-May-13 14:14:52

Yes that is correct. Good luck!

rosielou678 Wed 08-May-13 13:22:49

Are the things that were agreed on the day things either you or the LA conceded in the room so that the panel doesn't have to intervene? I'm going for an indi SS so I'd better be mentally prepared that I might not get a decision on the day.

CheeseToasty Wed 08-May-13 12:52:07

Thanks. I am glad to hear that my comments about the panel were positive.
There were some things that were agreed on the day rosielou.

rosielou678 Tue 07-May-13 20:53:41

Glad it went well. In my naivety I thought Tribunals gave their judgement on the day. So this is an eye-opener that they go away for agonising weeks to ponder!

inappropriatelyemployed Tue 07-May-13 20:44:58

Glad it went ok. It's over. Whatever happens, you did it and made them argue their case.

Dinkysmummy Tue 07-May-13 20:20:59

I hope you get the right decision flowers

Wish my panel were like that. Bunch of muppets.

Sounds positive. You're an amazing mum.

MareeyaDolores Tue 07-May-13 20:05:03

Experienced
Asked the right questions

That sounds about as good as anyone (successful) I've heard

Well done for getting this far smile, sending honks for the outcome you seek smile

CheeseToasty Tue 07-May-13 19:49:00

Thank you all for the good wishes.
It's finally all over now. I now have the dreaded 2 week wait.
I think it went as well as it could have. The panel were certainly experienced and asked the right questions. The set up did put me at ease but I am still very pleased I did not do it alone. Although another witness may have helped.
I am so full of adrenaline.
Please please please let us win!

KeepOnKeepingOn1 Tue 07-May-13 06:57:17

Icedcakeandflower Tue 07-May-13 05:39:41

flowers

zzzzz Tue 07-May-13 03:36:26

Honk honk

grin at the "out lunching".

Draw a very small goose on you hand/top paper, to remind you we are all here.

MareeyaDolores Tue 07-May-13 00:15:40

Thinking of you too. And saying a prayer (if that's ok).

Can you make a really nice packed lunch for yourself?
Or if not, is it possible to stop in at somewhere en route and buy the poshest sandwich from the super-deluxe range? Never hurts to plan a few ridiculous, petty, secret victories... like out-lunching the opposition wink

Thinking of you. Good luck.

CheeseToasty Mon 06-May-13 22:17:08

Thank you all for the support. I can't wait till this time tomorrow when it will be over. I am wondering what this process will do to our relationship with school too. X

PolterGoose Mon 06-May-13 21:08:27

Good luck flowers

Good luck. Honk!
