I'm not normally one of the mums who worry when their PFB goes on a trip.
Then again dinky isn't exactly a PFB, well she is, just with added awesome and added challenges.
Yesterday we went to see the new school. All was going well... Until... Dinky had just had enough, she started hitting me, grunting and saying "go now". (she seems to regress by 2/3 years when she starts getting like this) I told her she needed to stop hitting me or she would lose her priviliages which included her rescue rangers DVD.
Then some builders were going through the door release and dinky managed to squeeze through. I managed to stop her going out of the main door so she tried to open the window instead. I was picking up my bag and she ran out of the door. The senco followed, we managed to get her back in only for her to run out and straight into the road.
When I finally calmed her down she said she wants to go home, then refused to walk.
This morning she was ok, but I could see that anything coud set her off. I put her wrist reins on her this morning. When we got to school I asked them if they wanted to keep her wrist reins as they are going to a farm. They said they'd have to ask the HT if they were allowed to use them.
If the HT says no, I'm worried what will happen if she runs off. I mean dinkys class this morning had: CT, 2 TAs, senco and a parent helper (don't know if they are all going). I'm guessing either dinkys favourite TA or the senco will be with her. I think it will be senco as I'm not sure if the TAs going have team teach training as dinky will have to be restrained if she runs off.
So I'm a little worried...
