Our SN area is not a substitute for expert advice. While many Mumsnetters have a specialist knowledge of special needs, if they post here they are posting as members, not experts. There are, however, lots of organisations that can help - some suggestions are listed here. If you've come across an organisation that you've found helpful, please tell us. Sammy, this is one of the best basic intros. there is to ABA.
A wonderful book

Interesting read. Excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject, is there resources or self-teaching material so that parents can learn this and apply it at home?

Good stuff!

That is a good one. Very balanced imo.

This is great! Second press story on ABA in a month! Could things be opening up, just a little? It is my dearest wish to see more ABA special schools, and loads more ABA 1-1s in mainstream.

Plus, ABA units attached to mainstreams - the holy grail of autism education for my money.

Thanks for posting this!
