Ds has just been diagnosed with hypotonia and SPD. He needs some boots as his ankles are weak and his feet hurt but I can't seem to find any which are sturdy enough. The physio and orthotics have made him some new insoles but he finds it painful to walk any further then a few metres, and they have suggested that he wears boots. The school have agreed but they have to be black. The best ones I've found so far are Doc martens but he's tried mine on this afternoon and they don't support his ankles at the sides so his feet will stretch them. They may be better with the new insoles, but if I can find him some better ones then this would help.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
