I have just spoken to ds teacher and we have a date for him starting fulltime .

He is starting a week monday. It would have been next monday but his afternoon TA has to give her work a week's notice.

Also spoke to the outreach worker and she says that the school no longer need them to come in fortnightly as ds is doing so well with them so they are going to reduce their visits.

I am sooo proud of him for doing so well. It doesn't seem possible that things were so bad last year at his old school that a year ago he had just been excluded for the second time in 5 weeks.

Fingers crossed that things will go smoothly.

Great news Amynnixmum! You should post something on that Exclusions thread in Education!!
I would be a little worried about the Outreach team reducing their visits NOW, just when things are about to change. Can't they wait for the next half term and see how things go and reduce their visits in January?

Great news! It's amazing how things can change with a new school, isn't it?

Good luck to you all
