Dylexia Home assessment

I remember reading about a new dylexia home test for children in the Times and Good Housekeeping. (I think it envolved an alian character). I can't for the life of me find it now. Does anyone know of it. DS is a very slow reader and school have discounted dylexia. I am dyslexic but not picked up until my 20s as schools very dismissive of it then. I don't really want to do expensive Dyslexia Institute test as first port of call. Many thanks.

why did the school dismiss dyslexia ginqueen? Sorry do not know of this test.
