That looks very complicated and specialist, OP, which is perhaps why you have no responses.

Do the test results not come with an explanation sheet or with a plan for dealing with the issue at Colege, say?

If you were to google BAS II, would tht help you at all?

Hi.
I saw your post yesterday but can't really help you. Was hoping someone more knowledgeable would come along . It's rare for noone to answer these questions especially on the SEN boards.

I would go and investigate spacial reasoning though. As I am sure that low scores there impacts a lot of the lower scores like design and patterns. But hopefully my idiotic response triggers a better one...

His reading appears to be good in that he can read but had little understanding of what the words actually mean. So while he appears to be reading he gets very little from it. For example. cannot understand what is being asked if he reads a question.
I looked at this website..
Go - assessment.Co.uk and those cat scores appear to be very low with only 10% of children at that level receiveing 5 a-c grades at gcse. But as he probably wouldn't understand the questions that's not a surprise.

Can you not go somewhere and ask them to explain this to you. It looks to be me that you're child needs a lot of help. My dd is dyslexic and was in a special school for a while but I think your child is too old for that now.

Stillll hoping someone else answers.

Hi. Sorry one more thing. Important thing the 126 on the verbal says, I Believe , that he is a fairly bright kid. But making sense of the world around him with the written word is the problem. He is by no means not capable. He needs to be taught coping methods tp deal with the written word and patterns.

My son did his GCSEs last year and he scored 6A* 1A 2Bs and 3Cs. I think the CAT underestimate him
