Saw on a thread that this paediatrician in London does private asd assessments and came recommended.

It was an old thread though!

Anyone know of her or have any feedback?

Desperate now to get my dc assessed and willing to pay privately. would prefer Scotland though for the right, clinician would go anywhere in the uk.

We were referred to Dr Keen some years ago. At the time we found her to be insightful, providing an excellent and 'succinct' report. The real issue was not with Dr Keen, but with the 'prof' who refused to accept her diagnosis which was eventually found to be correct.

DD was diagnosed by Daphne Keen last year and so far we have not had any issues getting her diagnosis accepted. We have not applied for a statement but have used the report to access various NHS services.

We too found that her report was very insightful and she was incredibly thorough. She had a fantastic manner with DD who was very apprehensive about the appointment.

We are now contemplating an appointment for our DS who seems to be having some difficulties too. We have no intention of even attempting the NHS diagnostic route first this time.
