third week on plan...dodgy bowel!

Or lack of bowel movement, it's been 5 days, I'm so bloated.

Lost 3lb in first week then put on 1.5lb this week. Other than cutting out the junk and upping fruit and veg I've also been eating lots of yoghurt.

Did anyone else experience this? It's making me feel really rubbish.

This happened to me when I tried SW - I was astounded as I was eating heaps of fruit and veg. I think you're supposed to up your water intake when you increase your fibre though - might be worth a try.
I'm not much help though as I often get that way now since having my gallbladder removed. Am about to take lactulose which helped after the op.

i did in one of my early weeks, i ended up getting some senocot tablets. i think mine was becuase i'd had lentils a few times in the week.

YY to drink lots of water. Make sure you are eating plenty of soft fruits and veg and not too much stodge like pasta and rice or bananas. Pasta and bananas are notorious for binding some people up! Plenty of tomato based sauces, berries and soft fruits like peaches should do the trick Wink

Thanks all, I was having a banana every morning with my cereal, will try and avoid them.

I'm hoping next week will be a double whammy to compensate. :)
