Slimming World

Just started again and

am a bit worried. Doing extra easy. I've just had fried (one cal) eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and sw chips. I can't move. According to my book as long as I've one third of my plate was tomatoes and mushrooms I should be fine. I can't move, I'm stuffed, which means I'm worried I've got something wrong! Have I?

Nope that's all free, I wouldn't recommend eating till you're stuffed too often, but you are totally on plan - can't beat a fry up to make you feel synful Grin

Sounds a bit like my daily breakfast. I'm almost at 2 stone, in 10 weeks including an indulgent of plan 40th birthday weekend. I want to loose the same again and a bit more yet.

My first couple of weeks the plan took a bit of getting into the routine of. I'd sort of eat my meals and then have my healthy a and b. Now its more routine. I might have breakfast of a slice of wholemeal toast topped with bacon medalions, scrambled egg, frylight tomatos and mushrooms. So my healthy b is within the meal.

I do feel I'm eating more than I have in my whole adult life, its just the right things now.

The fakeaways book is worth a read (if you've got a camera phone you can always snap the pages at group) and the curry book is good, if you like a bit of spice. I double or quadrupple the recipes so i can have lots of ready meals in the freezer.

Thank you so much, that was really reassuring. Hurrah! I shall continue. I'm doing it online as I have some difficulties getting out regularly (disabled dh), so no-one to ask. Much appreciated.

Are you on facebook? There are some good groups for online support. 'Slimming World's Secrets,Tips & Ideas' is one that I watch.

You have to watch out for tweaks (where people over bend the rules like mushing fruit so it should be syned). But its good for seeing other peoples journeys and food inspiration. Also for those days where the enthusiasm is missing and it would be easy to just order takeaway (which actually there are lower syn options based on what you order anyway so its not out the equation)

Pinterest has loads of slimming world pins to. Lots of things like sheets of which Icelollies have the fewest syns. Typing as I munch through a 1.5 syn fake minimilk from Lidl.

The other forum that has lots of slimming world traffic is minimins

i've been on SW about 9 weeks and only tried SW chips this week, ended up having them 3 times (two with normal potatos and one with sweet potatos) and lost 3Lbs and got slimmer of the week!!

Wow, 6031769* that's great, well done!

My weigh in day is Monday, I am trying to stay off the scales until then. I had to go to a funeral yesterday and the barbecue that followed, I was very careful.
