Can I have a SW buddy please?

I have had a crappy few weeks, 1/2lb off (great, I am happy with this) then maintain for 2 weeks and then today I got 1lb on! Sad I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, sticking to plan 100% no 'cheat days' not going over my syns making sure I'm eating enough, having my HEA&B.

My consultant has said to write everything down religiously and she'll scrutinise next week and if there is nothing she can see wrong, we'll look at first forward.

I will admit to a small cry when I got back in the car. I've been going 11 weeks and I have lost 1st 1lbs. Which is fab I know but I don't know what's gone wrong now.

Does anyone want to be my buddy and help me keep on track?

Hi. I started on Monday and have had a few slip ups already but glad I started! I have been doing extra easy. Do you use your syns? Maybe not eating enough? Sometimes cutting carbs down a bit helps me, even though they are free, I find they just puff me up a bit! Is exercise an option? I've been trying to do something each day, walking as much as I can and have been to the gym (once!) going to go tomorrow and Monday morning! You have lost over a stone so well done. It can be disheartening but I remember reading somewhere...a good week always shows up, so you might not lose that week but over the month it will show. Smile

I can be a chat buddy if you like. I've been with SW for 13 weeks, and after tonight's weigh in I now weight more than when I started. I have big issues with using food as comfort, and after a car crash 3 weeks ago I've done nothing but binge. Consultant has given me a for/against to work with and has mentioned FF. I've done it before and I lost 9lb on it, so I am considering it

I hope you see a loss this week, I know how disheartening it is

Thanks.

I'm having a wobble these paste ways. I've stopped taking my contraceptive pill and all my horrible mood swings, aches and pains have gone, I feel great but it's brought on the mother of all periods and although I've been 100% on plan, I've gained 3lbs! (On my scales) so I'm deciding between having a weeks 'holiday' from group or just stopping group altogether and carrying in with DP at home.

I know it's normal to have a gain during this time of hone month but after last week, standing on those scales and gaining, I felt humiliated and embarrassed, I don't think I can face that again without it damaging my MH. That sounds dramatic I know but it's sadly true. Sad it too every ounce of willpower not to come home last week and gorge. I'm not sure I've got it in me to do it again.

I have been writing everything down for the consultant to see, but I've done this before I know this plan inside out, I know I'm not doing it wrong!

Everyone keeps commenting on how much weight I've suddenly lost but the scales tell me otherwise!

DO NOT GIVE UP!! And ignore your own scales. Just keep going, and you will see the results

It is normal to see a gain durinf star week (to use SW's phrase) but if its just water retention, then it will go and you'll see a better loss the following week

If you think that you might walk away if you gain again, get weighed but ask them not to put it in your book, just for this week. Talk it through with your cons, mine has done it for a few people

If people are noticing the weight loss then ignore your scales and wait til class

I will go tomorrow.

I've written all my food down to give to the consultant, I don't stay to group, I always have a 20 moth old whirlwind with me and this week will have my older 2 children too.

It's where we line up to pay and be weighed, everyone stares intently at the person that's up bring weighed and you can clearly hear the lady saying what you've gained/lost which then sparks a big "oh well done!" For losers and a stinky silence for gainers, followed by the consultant asking "what happened this week?!"

I'm sticking to it though. I'm quite stubborn in everyday life so I will be with this too.

How are you getting on? Smile

That's a bit unfair about the queue - at ours there is a chair for you to put your bits and bobs down, and no one steps passed the chair until the last had weighed. If you don't want your result calling out, tell them before you get on. Just a quick "can we keep the result quiet please, I'm not up to sharing this week" should do it

I'm doing ok, strawberries for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and a low cal ready meal for dinner (was working so needed something quick) had a solero with my lunch, but only 4.5 syns, it was lovely and refreshing

I've been and lost 1/2 lb, it's something at least. I've given in yet food diary and the consultant said it looks great at at glance but she'll have a detailed look letter and give me a call.

I'm having a bacon (fat removed!) Sandwich now since I never eat or drink before WI.

I love Soleros well worth the syns, all my syns are going on ice lollies atm, it's so darn hot!

I'm glad you've seen a loss. No matter how small, its off, not on. So well done

I don't know many that eat before weigh in. I weigh at 7.30 at night, and don't eat after lunch

Enjoy your bacon sarnie. That's something I do miss (gluten intolerant and gf bread is horrid)

Definitely true , slimjim I've learnt this and managed to be slimmer of the week two weeks running. I am trying hard but wonder if I'm just generally eating too much of free and super free foods altogether! Feel like I may have a much reduced loss this week. Hmm
