Slimming World

Has anyone done EE right the way to target?

I've been on SW for around 4 months, & in that time, have lost a measly 5lb. I'm not hugely overweight, but would like to lose another stone to get to 9st 7lb (am 5' 2, so this would be size 10-12.

My issue, is that I overindulge at the weekend, then spend the rest of the week trying to compensate for my indulgence, although the indulgence tends to be more wine than food... I think I need to switch to vodka!

The last month or so, I've been doing original plan, & I do enjoy it, but I wonder if I should go back to EE, I just seem to have it in my head that EE only really works for those with lots to lose, so wondered if anyone has done EE successfully right down to their final target? Ta!

I've been on SW since mid march and have lost 1st 13lb. Still another stone to go before i get to target but it's coming off steadily still at the moment.

Hello, I lost 4 stone with Slimming World and only sticking to extra easy. I love the plan that after having my baby 7 months ago I have become a Consultant. I followed the plan during pregnancy and also whilst O was breastfeeding and had no problems with it at all.

I often use to over indulge at the weekends and them spend the week trying to pull it back in, this never worked as it felt like I was restricting myself so there fore felt more of an urge to eat naughty things.

Hope this helps.

Me Smile

12st 5lb on 26/08/13

9st 9lb on 02/12/13

14 weeks and lost 38lbs

I totally stuck to plan, eating between 10 and 15 syns a day apart from 7 occasions where I was eating in a restaurant. I ate anything I wanted without counting syns but had 2 courses rather than 3.

I think what really worked for me was making sure that each meal was a third superfree.

I have been doing extra easy for 9 weeks and lost 21.5lb (in context I do need to lose another 20lb be within my target) but I don't drink alcohol and am very strict with my syns 12-15 a day and probably only gone over 3 times in the 9 weeks as had meals out and guessed syn value

Hi All
I did SW for just over a year and lost 3 stone on EE (with the odd green day thrown in along the way). I got to target at 7 weeks pregnant (I am 10 now). I was hoping to continue with the plan to maintain my weight but the morning sickness has taken over and all I can eat is dry bland foods (most full of syns!). Even the thought of veggies turns my stomach and all the lovely meals that I have enjoyed for so long on EE, nope can't even entertain them at the moment. I am hoping that the nausea will bugger off soon so that I can start eating healthily again. The morning sickness aside, I think SW is great and I love EE. I would recommend it to anyone!!
xx

People in our group seem to have mixed and matched a bit when they hit plateaus, so maybe a week of 3 original, 2 red, 2 EE, then next week 4 red, 1 EE, 2 green etc. After a couple of weeks they go back to EE.

Personally I think it is really important to have one evening a week where you don't count syns at all. This tricks your body into thinking it's getting loads of calories again so when you return to eating syn free food it seems to kick start your weight loss again.

I followed EE from start to finish. 15 months down the line I'm at target and almost 6st lighter.

Well done Feelingfitter :) People like you are my inspiration. I don't want to have to do anything other than EE because at the minute it really is easy and flexible and works well. Great to know you can keep doing it :)

Can I ask: did you up your exercise a lot too?

Thanks OSC Smile

I didn't really up the excercise as such, I was always on the go, but, at a much slower pace. I found that as the weight dropped off everything naturally fell into place and became less of a hassle. Now you can't stop me Grin

OSC just to add, every single wk I had treat night after weigh in (usually take away). I also used my syns for in front of TV at night which was always my downfall.
