Help me find a new breakfast please :)

I tend to use up my HE B on breakfast, either 2 slices (from a small loaf) of wholemeal cardboard toast with eggs or 2 weetabix with fruit. What can I have that will leave the HE B for later in the day and mix things up a bit? I would try fruit and yogurt but I find myself starving within an hour or so after that :(

Any help greatly appreciated, I'm 1st 6lb into this and I really want to get to target!

Can you have eggs, bacon or quorn sausage mushrooms and beans?

Rice pudding - 1 cup of pudding rice to 3 cups of sugar free cream soda. Microwave for 7 mins. Lovely with a little drop of skimmed milk and berries or a banana. Also good to snack on

I've got a couple of suggestions:

  1. Two soft boiled eggs followed by a bowl of chopped up fruit (pear and banana is nice) in a bowl with a fruity or vanilla yog poured over. The protein in the eggs should, hopefully, keep you going for a bit longer.

  1. Cook up a batch of quinoa and leave it in the fridge. Defrost a bag of mixed berries and leave that in the fridge too. For breakfast, have a few tablespoons of quinoa with a few spoonfuls of berries with a fruity or vanilla yog over.

I tend to try to keep my HexB for lunch or a tea-time snack if we're not going to be eating until later. I like Corn Thins and you can have five of them. They're great with laughing cow triangles (five too for HexA) or just cottage cheese/ ham/ tomatoes. If you can spare half a syn, they're a yummy treat with a teaspoon on choc shot drizzled over.

1st 6lbs is fantastic! I'm 2 weeks in and have lost 5lbs..

try sweet couscous - put 2 tbsp dry plain couscous in a bowl, add boiling water to cover the grains (about 6-8tbsp). Put a plate over the top and allow the grains to absorb the water. Add a flavoured fat free yogurt and lots of superfree fruit and you have a filling syn-free breakfast. My consultant checked that it's okay to use the couscous like this and it is as it is part of a meal that includes superfree, so isn't a tweak. Toffee muller with apple and banana is lovely. If you make it the night before and leave in the fridge, then it goes really thick and rice-pudding-y.

Couscous is lovely sweet. It's a proper thing! Lol. I get wholegrain couscous and it has a sweet recipe on the packet with nuts and dried fruit in it! It sounds delicious but isn't SW friendly really. I've put flaked almonds in it before if I do want to use my HE though.

Rice pudding is nice made with any diet pop. I've use cherryade and cherry mullerlight before. Lovely!

That looks delicious :) I'm thinking (after a couscous disaster) I make it up the night before, add frozen fruit and yogurt and leave in the fridge overnight, then add a banana in the morning

I've put back 5lb of the 3 stone I lost 12-18 months ago with SW, so I am back on the plan for a couple of weeks. Had the cous cous thing for breakfast. Yummy! I did it with Onken fat free vanilla yog and apricots. Great for work too. I put the cous cous and boiling water in one of those microwave soup mug. It was cooked and still warm when I got to work 45 mins later, mixed in yog and fruit at work.
