Hi guy's I would really love some advise, and have a few questions...

What's the best cheese to buy for slimming world?

pasta?

and bread?

I am a total newbie and I am going to give this free plan ago www.slimmingworld.com/healthy-eating/vegetarian-menu.aspx before I payout and join my local group x

Hi, I'm vegetarian, wholemeal pasta and wholegrain bread best option. Bread is a healthy extra though not a free food, I'm only having a couple of slices of bread a week, I prefer to have milk as my healthy extra, cheese is classed as a syn, not sure how many syns? I'm not having any! SW have offer on at the moment, starting dieting from 1st Jan and have lost 6pounds this week, I'm starting their 12 week plan next week with a friend, check it out, it doesn't cost much, and will help enormously, good luck

Try reduced fat cheddar

I get the grated reduced fat cheddar in a bag from Aldi. Tastes fine to me!

I use mozzarella a lot though as you can have 45g of this, more than cheddar.

I use white pasta, as this is my preference, and is free on SW.

Bread, I get wholemeal, 75p from Aldi for a large loaf, and have 1.75 slices Grin which is 60g! (I cut the crusts off!)

Fat free cottage cheese is a free food - can be tricky to find though. I think Longley Farm do one, which from memory tastes pretty nice (if you like cottage cheese).
