I have previously lost nearly four stone on SW and felt sooo good about myself. Loved being able to go into any shop and know I could find something to wear. Since then, four years have gone by and I have managed to regain about 3 stone of it. I rejoined SW a couple of months ago determine to lose it once and for all, but I am so de-motivated and I have lost about 4lbs in all that time. I haven't been able to afford to go to group for a couple of weeks (DH has not had any work coming in and we have had to watch every penny, but has a new job now so this is not an excuse any longer). I need a really good kick up the arse. Somebody please help me to get back on track. I have loads of nice clothes in my wardrobe which I have had to pack away as they no longer fit. I am about to embark on a big career change and really want to look the part but I just cannot get in the zone SW-wise. How do others get re-motivated? Any tips?

Come on you can do it , I have about 6 stone to loose and have joined so many clubs it was getting embarrassing . I'm 40 in January and that was the kick up the backside that I needed , I am 15 weeks in and 23 lb lighter so it's a slow job. But I'm feeling loads better already and am so determined this time that I know I can do it. Have you got a special occasion , you can you aim to or just even for you health. Think of all those fab things you will be able to wear. You need to dig deep and get stuck in right now Smile

I'm putting off joining SW and have decided this is THE week to do it Smile I have a couple of stones to lose just to feel healthy again. I haven't done SW in years so I know it won't be easy to adjust.

I agree with Buttercrumble that an event or something to focus on might help. I am also 40 next year, and my plan was to wing-walk with a friend, but I need to be a stone lighter at least for that even be a possibility so I am trying to get my head round eating less and healthier so I can do something fun!!

I'm doing slimming world at the moment. I've got about one stone and nine lb left to lose. When I've reached my target I'm going to learn burlesque dancing, I use it as a motivation to keep going.

If you've not done it for a while, then the new EE is really simple to follow. Not sure it works as well though as I think you're more likely to tweak it a bit.

Still, a stone off in 6 weeks without feeling hungry can't be a bad thing :)
