I'm breastfeeding when I stuck to the plan having all my sins and HE I lost 3-4lb every week. I had a few weeks off and gained but I'm back focused again now. On my return I lost 5lb first week then 4 this week so very happy! I would say have snacks available you can eat whilst feeding esp in the middle of the night. My favourites are sw raspberry roulade and cooked veg fries with barbacue sauce.

I lost an average of 1lb a week when I was breastfeeding and got to target over about 9 months. I didn't stick to plan perfectly so I sure I could have done better. It was much better than the last nine months when I have put about 2/3 of it back on. Really really really must go back. It is so much easier to go to group with a babe in arms than a toddler! Good luck

Wow carrielou 5 stone off in 5 months is absolutely amazing and very encouraging!

I joined SW (again! blush ) yesterday and am BF my 5 week old, so get quite a few healthy extras and I'm a bit worried about how ill lose weight on it.

I rejoined when dc3 was 2 weeks old as I looked like someone had eaten me! Put on 5 stone by being total glutton, got my. 5 stone award yesterday so taken. 5 months. I am ex BF though started weaning about 3-4 weeks ago he still feeds a lot at night. I have my extra milk/cheese and 15 syns and will hopefully lose the last 3/4 stone I hadn't lost as I put on weight after finishing feeding dc 2 wine

I joined SW when my DD was 6 weeks old. Like you, I had more healthy extras than regular members and the full 15 syns per day. I still lost weight! I lost approx 2lbs a week for ages, this then slowed to about 1lb a week. I'm weaning DD now so only get 1 extra healthy extra but my weight loss has increased to 2lbs a week again (and I still have the full 15 syns a day).

I have lost 2 and a half stone in 5 months, with a stone to go.

Snacks - the new Christmas pudding Hifi bars are delicious and can be used as a B choice instead of syns. I also like making a curry loaf and having a slice when I'm hungry bored (Asda tinned chickpea dahl and 3 eggs mixed into a cooked pack of Batchelor's curry rice - stick in oven at 200 for 20 mins) - and this is syn free!

Congrats in your little baby! grin I didn't diet whilst breastfeeding (I ate like a horse!) but breastfeeding itself burns lots if extra cals so I'd imagine it should still work.
I like hard boiled eggs or sliced cooked meat as snacks. Alpen light bars are 3syns I think.

Well my dd is now nearly 6 months old, when she was born I didn't especially need to loose weight but I wouldn't have minded losing half a stone. Now nearly 6 months and an awful lot of cake later I have managed to lose a stone, my clothes are all too big and all my friends say can see I've gone really skinny! All I did is bf my dd and do a lot of walking with her in the buggy, I didn't actively try to loose weight and definately wasn't being careful with what I've been eating like you do in sw...

As for snack ideas anything in the house I can eat one handed usually a large piece of cake does the trick wink

Hi girls
Just that really!!
Just started sw last thurs so yet to have a weigh in. Bf my 14 week old daughter. Have about 2 stones to lose, just desperate to see a difference in my clothes!
Did any other breastfeeding mums have a good weight loss? Just not convinced it'll be great as I'm eating 4 babybells, 1/2 pint of milk and a Kitkat every day! Eek!!
Any good snack ideas out there feel like I'm going to turn into a bloody mullerlight
Xx
