You can save syns but it's not recommended. Have a look on the website at 'flexible syns'.

Not really as yet! I know i need to, like i said, totally underprepared but didn't want to keep putting it off!! I have had a nescafe sachet cappucino both days too. Can i save syns for wine the weekend?

Sounds like you're doing it all correctly! In fact you may even be able to have some more syns. Are you doing a proper food diary?

Thanks all. I have been attempting it this week but am poorly prepared! Yesterday - muller light and banans for breakfast. Jacket spud, 3 x extra light laughing cow, beans for lunch. Apple, grapes, alpen light. Muller light. Another spud, tuna sweetcorn and spoonful of mayo.

Sound ok?

Today - muller light brekkie. Same lunch. Apple and muller light. For dinner am having grilled chicken with pasta. Sauce made from passata, oniin courgette mushroom peppers.

I did this for a few days and realised I'd been having around 1400-1800 cals a day, and I never felt hungry.

I think the key to it working is that if you stick to it and then actually calculated the calories eaten each day, they usually always amount to less than 2000cals, which is conducive to losing weight.

I think the key with SW is low fat, fresh healthy food and a well balance diet.
Potatoes, rice and dried pasta are all free to eat.
But cheese etc is limited.

It's healthy eating and you lose weight just by limiting the bad stuff.

For me it's perfect.

Sorry didn't explain myself well - i am trying to get away from no carbs as though i can lose weight doing that, i can't keep it off. I hear you can eat all manner of carbs on sw?

Why not save your money and join the low-carb boot camp on here starting 9th Sept?

Hello,.I have not done SW before but am thinking of starting. I have done WW and i DO have results but cannot maintain for some reason and think i'm a bit bored of it. Also, my best ww sucesses are when i do no carbs.

I know a couple of people who have done well on SW but i struggle to understand how it works!! Being as i know i lose weight with no carbs. And they have both had a lot to lose (7 - 8 stone) so i'm wondering if someone with less to lose can share their sucess? I am 5'7 and weigh 12 .5 stone. I want to lose 21lbs. I am quite muscly and carry the weight well - its evenly spread!

Any advice/explanation appreciated! (oh and there is no local class that i can't get to)
