he wakes every night on the dot 4am, cant break it

ds goes to bed at 7pm, wakes at 12.30am, settles but religiously wakes again anything from 3am to 6am and just wont settle back into another 2/3 hrs sleep til breakfast, i am wrecked its been nearly 2wks
he naps for 30mins in morn and 1 1/2 hrs at 1pm or so, he does get too much sleep in the day so i cant work it out

i've done c/c sort off with him but he is not giving up , any ideas
