ds has always been a great sleeper, slept from 7pm til about 8.30am which was great. However he is getting earlier started going to 7.30am, then 6.30am and now this morning was 5.30am.

He does have to be up by 6.30am in the week so I know i'm being unreasonable to expect him to stay in on the weekends but just wondered if anyone had any miracle cures

TIA

I think you should just count your blessings for all the extra sleep you have been getting! 10 or 11 hours a night and a sleep in the day sounds about normal for many children this age. You may find he sleeps better if he doesn't have a nap in the daytime, or you may find it makes no difference.

Sorry but sleep is not really something we have a great deal of control over

oh ok maybe I should be grateful he had given up his daytime sleep as was sleeping til 8.30am but now he's getting up at 6.30 hes started napping for an hour or so in the daytime again

at 4.30am waking, its that sort of think that puts me off having a third after 2 good sleepers
